A belated happy and healthy new year to everyone! Thank you all for reading my blog and commenting on my posts the last year. I enjoy all of this very much. Here’s to another year of cooking, eating, baking, and being vegan.
For some months now I’ve been testing recipes for the talented Celine and Joni. Their upcoming book will be full of delicious and innovative recipes, which are easy and fast to prepare, too. Some will let you experience new flavour or ingredient combinations and others will satisfy your comfort food cravings. Here’s a round-up of some of the recipes I’ve been making. All of them were really fantastic:
For breakfast or as a gift: Cookie Crumble Granola
Also for breakfast or as a snack: Sour Thymes (baked apples)
Another breakfast or snack: Jam-filled Soda Rolls
You want muffins? Here they are: Quinoa-Raisin Muffins
Or quickbreads? Apple-Sage Quickbread
Your mind says savoury snack? Curry Couscous Stuffed Mushrooms
Hungry for more? Aubergine, Lentils, and Rice Curry
A very colourful soup instead? Tomato-Quinoa Soup
Stick with the quinoa theme? Mexiquinoa
Want more comfort food or remember your childhood? Potatoes au Gratin
Or something every omni would tell you that this couldn’t be veganized? Soufflè
Omni still says no? Look at that texture, dude:
Celine’s and Joni’s book is not finished yet, but I already have an all time favourite: Mandarin Almond Cardamom Cake
Need I say more?

Alright, that’s it – I need ALL of those treats right now!! :-D
wow such a beautiful world! uhuh :D
I’ve always wondered if it was possible to veganize a souffle! Now I know! Take that omnis!
Now I can’t wait for the book, just for that recipe…well, also for the tomato soup and the Mexiquinoa.
That all looks so amazing! I’m totally impressed by Joni and Celine, and you!! :D
Wow. All of those recipes look great (no doubt in part thanks to your great photography).
I’m glad I have another vegan cookbook debut to look forward to. Thanks!
Holy cow! Nope, you need not say more. Just pass me the souffle!
I was totally sold at Cookie Crumble Granola, but all of these recipes sound/look amazing. This is one book that is definitely going to be pre-ordered. Celine’s recipes have never let me down!
aw, shucks. I love that you even took the time to give color to the names of the recipe! I need to start knitting “best tester ever” sweaters, I already know a few people who’re getting one for next Christmas. ha!
Wow! Everything looks great. I am very partial to the tomato quinoa soup.. That combo (plus eggplant) is one of my very favorite things.
